Hand colored copper plate engravings on hand made chain laid paper circa 1760 by Johann Michael Seligmann who produced a nine-volume compilation of the works of Mark Catesby (1683-1749) and George Edwards (1694-1773). We bought this set at an auction house in London and it is in very good condition overall. What is nice about the Seligmann set is they are so beautifully colored and the engraving detail is just magnificent not to mention how rare they are. Size of the print is approximately 15.2 inches by 9.9 inches.
