Schubert Birds

Original Antique Prints from 1886 by Gotthilf Heinrich von Schubert. Printed in German and Latin each print contains the names at the bottom of the page of the subject matter. Published in 3 Volumes (Mammals, Sea Life and Birds) this work consisted of 90 plates. Each print is a lithograph with original coloring. A centerfold runs vertically through the print and once framed is almost unseen. The prints do have aging along the edge and at the bottom as show in the picture but considering there age are in good condition. Some prints have slight separation at bottom in fold but it does not go into the image and will be behind the mat once framed. This is a clean and brightly colored set of Schubert's work and frame wonderfully. Print size is approximately  12.6 x 15.8 inches.
