Mark Catesby BIRDS

Between 1731 and 1743 Mark Catesby published his Natural History of Carolina, Florida and the Bahama Islands, the first published account of the flora and fauna of North America. In December of 2018 we completely re-edited the set. Changing the paper color to match the original paper color and image size to match closely to the original engraving.  Printed on Somerset Velvet acid free cotton rag paper. The inks are all archival with a light fastness of over 140 years. Printed at such a high resolution you cannot see our printing process. The size of these prints can be changed to meet your needs and you would need to contact us for custom sizing. The original print size is 22 inches tall and 15.5 inches wide and are available by contacting us.
